Go Sea Kayak was the evolution of local waterman Kurt Tutt’s passion for paddling.
Our guides and team are professional, highly experienced and thoroughly trained in guiding kayak tours all over Australia.
Our service to you, your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.
Founded in 2007 in Byron Bay our company has taken thousands of people from all over the world sea kayaking in some of the most picturesque and naturally spectacular places on the planet. It is our goal to connect you with Mother Nature through sea kayaking which we make easy, fun and memorable for all the right reasons.
We absolutely love what we do and we feel we owe it to Mother Nature to take care of her so we adopt sustainable operating practices and share these with you.
Our Tours are run daily:
Where: We depart Point Piper Kayaks, Rose Bay Beach every day ( except Christmas Day, New Years Day) weather depending.
6:00am – 8:30am Sunrise Sydney Harbour Kayak Tour
9:30am – 11:30am – Sydney Harbour Sea Kayak Tour
What Kind of Kayaks do we use:
We have double Sit on Top Sea Kayaks, so we pair you up and paddle away nice and easy. Our kayaks are super stable and easy to paddle. If you come alone or in an odd numbered group one of you can pair up with a Guide ( yew, business class)
What safety gear is supplied: Lifejackets, thermal paddling tops (in colder months)
What should I wear: Light Sunsafe clothing , a hat & sunglasses, swimmers
What Qualifications will my Guide have: All of our Guides are Australian Canoeing Coastal Sit on Top Kayak Guides. They also hold Senior First Aid Certificates and Surf Life Saving Gold Medallions. You will be in the best of care with us
Can I swim during tour: You bet you can, we have a great couple of places we stop for a swim at should you like.
Where do we meet for our Tour: We meet at Point Piper Kayaks on Rose Bay Beach, cnr of Wunulla Road and News South Head Rd just below the Rose Bay Police station, please arrive 15 mins prior to your scheduled tour start time.
